Two pilots in a cockpit building flight hours together
Coming soon

Build hours.
Split costs.

Connect with other pilots for cross-country flights, instrument practice, night currency, or simply to split the rental cost. Costs split 50/50.

Who uses time building

From first solo to ATPL. Every stage of the pilot journey.

PPL students
Build your cross-country hours
Need 150+ hours for a PPL? Find another student to split the rental cost on qualifying cross-country routes. Log your PIC time, split the bill.
CPL candidates
Get to 200 hours faster
The CPL requires 200 hours total time. Time-building sessions let you fly more frequently by sharing costs with other motivated pilots.
IR pilots
Keep your instrument currency
IR currency requires 6 approaches every 6 months. Find a safety pilot or another IR-rated pilot to share the cost of a training flight.
Night currency
Stay current after dark
Night currency requires takeoffs and landings at night. Find a co-pilot heading to the same area and split the hours and costs.
Experienced pilots
Fly to new places for less
Plan a cross-country to a new airfield. Find a co-pilot who wants to go the same direction, split costs and enjoy the company.
Flight instructors
Build multi-engine or type hours
Post a time-building session in a more complex aircraft. Find another rated pilot to share the hours and costs of maintaining currency.

How it works

Post a session or find one. Costs always split equally.

1
Post a session
Describe your planned flight: aircraft, route, date, goal (VFR XC, night currency, instrument approach practice) and available seats for co-pilots.
2
Match with co-pilots
Interested pilots apply, showing their licence level and logged hours. You review and accept the best match for your session.
3
Confirm and fly
Once matched, both pilots confirm the plan and aircraft. Costs are split equally between all pilots in the cockpit.
4
Log and review
After the flight, each pilot logs their hours. Leave a review for your co-pilot to build a trusted network.

Fly twice as much for the same budget

Time building lets you double your flying hours without doubling your spend. Find a co-pilot, split the rental cost, and both log the full flight time.
