Do I need any experience or licence to fly as a passenger?
No. Passengers need no qualifications, pilot licence, or prior aviation experience. The licensed pilot is fully responsible for the safe conduct of the flight.
How much does a typical flight cost?
Prices vary by route, aircraft type, and number of passengers. Typical costs range from €50 to €300 per seat for European routes. The pilot enters the total direct costs, and the platform divides that by all occupants (including the pilot). You see a full cost breakdown before booking.
How do I book a flight?
Browse flights at /flights, choose a route and pilot, and send a booking request with a short message. No payment is taken at this stage. The pilot has 24 hours to approve or decline. Once approved, you have 24 hours to pay your seat. If either window lapses, the request expires automatically.
What happens if a pilot cancels?
You receive a full refund automatically. Pilot cancellation history is visible on their public profile, so you can evaluate reliability before booking.
Are the pilots insured?
All flights must comply with the aircraft's hull and liability insurance. Pilots confirm their aircraft insurance is current when listing a flight. Passengers fly under the same insurance as any other occupant of a private aircraft.
What aircraft types will I fly on?
Primarily single-engine piston aircraft: Cessna 172, Piper PA-28, Diamond DA40, and similar. Some pilots fly more advanced aircraft. Check the specific listing for full details including aircraft registration and type.
