By accessing or using the AvioSharing platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
AvioSharing is a marketplace platform that connects private pilots ("Pilots") with passengers seeking to share the cost of private flights. AvioSharing does not operate aircraft, employ pilots, or provide air transport services.
All flights facilitated through the platform must comply with applicable cost-sharing regulations, including EASA rules and national aviation authority requirements in the relevant jurisdiction.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. Pilots must hold a valid Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or equivalent and must not be flying for remuneration beyond the direct operating cost of the flight as permitted by applicable regulations.
Pilots are solely responsible for: the airworthiness of their aircraft, holding appropriate licences and ratings, compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, obtaining appropriate insurance, and accurately representing their qualifications and the details of any flight listed on the platform.
Passengers acknowledge that they are participating in cost-sharing arrangements on private general aviation flights. By booking a flight, passengers accept the inherent risks associated with general aviation and sign a liability waiver as part of the booking process.
All payments are processed through Stripe. The platform charges a service fee as described on the pricing page. Pilots are paid directly to their connected Stripe account after the flight is marked as completed.
Cancellation and refund policies are described at the time of booking. Passengers may be entitled to a full, partial, or no refund depending on the time of cancellation relative to the scheduled departure time.
Users must not use the platform to: book or offer flights that violate cost-sharing regulations, engage in commercial air transport without the appropriate licences, provide false information, harass or intimidate other users, or circumvent platform fees.
AvioSharing provides a marketplace platform only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AvioSharing shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of the Service or participation in any flight arranged through the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
AvioSharing reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
